Customer traffic to Target.com during November got a nice boost on Black Friday, increasing 9%, as more than one million people hit the site. Target was one of four retailers that had more than one million unique visitors, with Amazon.com, Walmart.com and Bestbuy.com being the others. Amazon.com is already the busiest online merchant, but its traffic still increased by 25%, while traffic to Walmart.com declined 1%, and Bestbuy.com was up 1%. The online measurement agency did not disclose the actual number of unique visitors each site attracted. The marked improvement from Target follows several months of flat growth in online traffic.
