Zoomingo adds BTS section to shopping app

SEATTLE — Zoomingo, the shopping discovery app that helps consumers find the best deals in their local stores and online, has launched a new "back to school" section that lets parents and young adults find the best deals for their back to school essentials, whether they are on the go from their smartphone or from the convenience of their home computer. The new back to school section is available both in English as well as in Spanish through a newly released Spanish language version of Zoomingo's Android application.

Designed to find the best sales both in local stores as well as online, the new feature covers everything from clothing to school supplies and dorm room needs. With Zoomingo's new school shopping feature, shoppers can discover the best sales in both back to school and back to college categories. In addition, sales are organized by store which include top department stores such as Macy's, Target, Walmart and Kohl's as well as school and office supply chains such as Staples, OfficeMax and Office Depot.

"According to a recent Deloitte survey, over 50% of shoppers are planning on spending $250 or more for back to school items and 66% indicated that they would purchase more items on sale making Zoomingo an essential tool for any parent or student," said Shirish Nadkarni, CEO and co-founder of Zoomingo. "With this new release, we are also expanding our market reach to include Spanish-speaking shoppers who various studies show are adopting mobile shopping tools at a faster rate than the average U.S. consumer."
