Nature Valley has rolled out two new products — Nature Valley Breakfast Biscuits and Nature Valley Greek Yogurt Protein bars — which are geared toward people with active lifestyles, the company said. The company is also adding an additional variety to its Nature Valley Protein Granola line in the form of Cranberry Almond.
The nation’s largest egg producer, Cal-Maine Foods, said it sold 243.3 million dozen eggs in its fourth quarter ended June 1, and moved closer to surpassing the 1 billion dozen threshold for the full fiscal year.
Pepperidge Farm is looking to drive sales of its Puff Pastry product by bringing in culinary expert and Top Chef judge Gail Simmons. Simmons developed a collection of exclusive recipes that feature the company’s Puff Pastry as a key ingredient.
